Falsedad en documento is a series of drawings on paper of my personal documents and certified photocopies. After the frustration of many declined visa applications to France and the USA, I had accumulated many certified photocopies for each embassy. As a part of a pile of personal documents, they symbolised a huge investment of time and money, frustration and tears. These drawings now represent the result of years of frustration applying for visas, whereby the drawing process itself became a personal catharsis. The final result is a false document (Falsedad en documento) made with graphite.
